The KIT offers students a variety of opportunities to gain international experience. This applies both to KIT students who wish to go abroad (Outgoing) and to international students who wish to study at the KIT (Incoming).
Incoming: The latter are differentiated according to whether they are aiming for a degree at the KIT or wish to visit the KIT as temporary students (Austausch(Exchange) for only 1 to 2 semesters.
Outgoing: For all students of the KIT Department of Informatics aiming at a KIT degree (regardless of EU citizenship), various exchange programs are offered to spend 1 to 2 semesters at a partner university in Europe or on another continent. But enrollment is required both at the time of application and during the entire stay abroad. In addition, there is also the option of a german-french double master's degree or an internship abroad.
