Outstanding Dissertation Award of the EDAA for PhD
Dennis Gnad already received his PhD in 2020 from the KIT Department of Informatics in the field of Computer Engineering.
For his PhD entitled "Remote Attacks on FPGA Hardware", the European Design & Automation Association (EDAA) now awarded him the Outstanding Dissertation Award in the category "New directions in logic, physical design and CAD for analog/mixed-signal, nano-scale and emerging technologies".
Dennis Gnad received his doctorate under the supervision of Prof. Mehdi Tahoori at the Chair of Dependable Nano Computing (CDNC) of the Institute of Computer Engineering (ITEC).
The award ceremony took place during the now online conference "Design Automation & Test in Europe (DATE)", where CDNC had something to celebrate twice, as Prof. Tahoori was now also officially elected IEEE Fellow.
