International Student Roundtable (ISRT) “In the thick of It : what next in my first semester" is for all international students.
Now that you have arrived and begun get immersed in your studies studying, you may wish to consult with us on things that have come up, have questions about navigating your new life or delve deeper into what the KIT community has to offer.
KIT's Department of Informatics will jointly facilitate this event with International Students Office, Welcome & Integration Team and KIT Career Services.
We can:

∎ address KIT organizational and academic aspects
∎ help start building your social network, connections and involvement
∎ provide information about seeking jobs and what resources are available via KIT's Career Services
∎ work with exchange students Learning agreements updates during the mobilty
At the end of the event, you will have the opportunity to chat with other students, the presenters and advisors in attendance.
This event is particularly relevant for international students enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at the Faculty of Informatics at KIT.

KI verleiht Flügel
Künstliche Intelligenz meint die Automatisierung intelligenten Verhaltens und die Lernfähigkeit von Maschinen und Systemen. Im Science Camp KI übertragen wir diese Prinzipien auf die Vogelwelt. Ob Ente, Adler oder Blaumeise: in vier Workshop-Tagen wollen wir Vögel von einer KI trainieren lassen und fit für das große Wettfliegen machen.
Neben einer kleinen Einführung in Python und maschinelles Lernen, erstellen wir mit euch einen eigenen Eier-Datensatz und klassifizieren diesen mit einem neuronalen Netzwerk. Außerdem erproben wir genetische Algorithmen, Mutationen und Fitnessfunktionen für die Rennvögel.
Daneben gibt‘s natürlich auch einen Einblick in das Informatikstudium, den Campus und das Studileben in Karlsruhe.
Das Science Camp KI findet vom 03.08.-07.08.2026 am KIT in Karlsruhe statt und richtet sich an Schülerinnen und Schüler ab Klasse 10.
Maximal 15 Teilnehmende
Der Unkostenbeitrag für fünf Workshop-Tage inkl. Verpflegung und Programm beträgt 75€.
