The portal can be used to apply for the first semester as well as for a higher semester. General information on application and admission, such as application deadlines, can be found on the Student Services website. When changing from a Bachelor ' s to a Master's study program within KIT, there are specific transition regulations to be complied with.

Double master's program

The KIT Faculty of Computer Science currently offers a double master's program: Double Master in Informatics and Computer Science with the Instiut Polytechnique de Grenoble (further information under: Double Master Program). Half of the Master's program is completed at the home university and half at the partner university. After successfully completing the Master's program, students receive a degree from the partner university in addition to the KIT degree. The study plan is coordinated between the universities and the students follow a predetermined curriculum. The program is supported by the Franco-German University.
The double master's program is different than parallel studies!

ECTS grades table

ECTS grades are provided as a table in the diploma supplement alongside the individual overall grade. The computing of the ECTS grades is done according to the KIT regulations on this matter.

The table shows the distribution of the overall grades achieved by students within a particular cohort. For all grades the percentage of graduates having this overall grade is listed. The tables are only available if a sufficiently large cohort exists.
The tables for all degree programs and different cohorts and further information on this subject can be found on the page of Business unit Studium und Lehre.
