This lecture is relevant for any student in the KIT Department of Informatics, who intends to write Orientierungsprüfungen ("Orientation Exams"),
The event is dedicated to optimizing the exam period. It will not only provide subject-specific tips but also present proven methods and techniques that can contribute to a successful exam phase. The focus will be on effective learning strategies, time management during the exam period, and stress management techniques.
This part of the event can be attended both online and on site.
There will also be a learning partnership exchange on site.
Study Group: At the end there will be an opportunity to find a study partner for the exam phase and/or coming summer semester.
The workshop will be held in German. You can ask questions in English or German.

Galt die Informatik lange Zeit als Disziplin für Hardwarefreaks und Kellerkinder, so hat sie sich im Zuge der Digitalisierung zu einem elementaren Bestandteil des Alltags entwickelt und findet heute in fast allen Lebensbereichen Anwendung: ob in PCs, Autos, Flugzeugen, Handys, Haushaltsgeräten, aber auch in der Medizin, im Film oder in der Kommunikation - sie ist aus unserem täglichen Leben nicht mehr wegzudenken.
Habt ihr Lust, das Fach Informatik gemeinsam mit anderen kennenzulernen, euch mit Informatikthemen praktisch zu beschäftigen, gemeinsam mit uns eure ersten Schritte als Coder*in zu gehen und dabei mehr über die Informatik und das Berufsfeld zu erfahren? Dann ist unser neues Science Camp Digital genau das Richtige für Euch!
Nach einer Einführung in HTML erstellt jeder eine eigene Website, die mithilfe von CSS und JavaScript ganz nach Belieben gestaltet werden kann. Jeden Morgen gegen 9 Uhr gibt's eine Einführung und die Aufgaben des Tages, an denen ihr dann individuell ganz in eurem eigenen Tempo arbeiten könnt. Während dieser Zeit stehen euch die ganze Zeit unsere Tutor*innen aber auch die Community der anderen Teilnehmer*innen zur Seite. Nachmittags treffen wir uns dann wieder online zur Besprechung der Ergebnisse.
Daneben gibt‘s natürlich auch einen Einblick in das Informatikstudium, den Campus und das Studileben in Karlsruhe.
Das Science Camp Digital richtet sich an Schülerinnen und Schüler der Klassenstufen 8-10.
