Exam review
The exam review gives students the opportunity to get an overview of their own written exam and its grading. In any case, it is advisable to go to the exam review, if your own expectations of the grade and the grade actually published in CMS are far apart.
The examiner always determines the time and place of the review!
- The rules for the exam review (including the possibility of taking notes or photos) are communicated either in advance or on site. Non-compliance with these rules can be interpreted as an attempt to cheat.
- Questions can be clarified with the staff on site. However, only the examiner can decide over a change in the grade. The decision to lower the grade can also be made, but is improbable.
If students are unable to attend the exam review, they can send another person with power of attorney (signed power of attorney letter & copy of the ID of the student being represented must be provided). Any changes in grade provoked by this person, must be accepted.
For each written exam, an exam review will be organized. Alternative dates for the exam review are possible, but these do not have to be timely. Students have to contact the institutes and ask for an alternative date. Students should explain the reason for not being able to attend the regular exam review. Also, it may be the case that the examiner is unable to be present on the alternative date, so that information about the assessment may be scarce.
