Forms
Forms are available for the most common procedures. In other cases, an informal application must be written.
Application with form
If a downloadable form is available for an application, it must be used. Read the entire application form carefully. Do not forget the date, signature and transcript of records! Due to data protection guidelines, applications by e-mail must always be submitted from the student e-mail address.
For applications for:
• Extension of the maximum period of study
• Extension of the orientation exam period and
• Second re-exam application
please use our online forms.
Informal application
No templates are provided for an informal application. The following information must be included:
• Recipient (which examination board the application is addressed to: e.g. BSc. Informatics, MSc. Computer Science etc.)
• Sender (name, address, matriculation number, e-mail address)
• Subject (briefly state the reason for the application to start with)
• Transcript of records (of all exams passed, failed etc.)
Applications must be sent as a PDF-Documen t from the student E-Mail account to ISS (beratung-informatik∂informatik.kit.edu).
Applications can also be handed in at the ISS during opening hours or dropped into the mailbox at any time at any time. If applications are handed in on paper, they must be signed!
