, Formal Methods @ KIT
Meet 'n' Prove is the opportunity to find out about research and teaching on formal methods.
Find out more about our research and about opportunities for final theses or student jobs!
6 research groups - all focussing on formal methods - will present their work:
Prof. Beckert
Prof. Erdweg
Prof. Platzer
Prof. Schäfer
Jun.-Prof. Schwammberger
Dr. Schreiber
Please let us know if you plan to attend the event: https://s.kit.edu/mnp
Spontaneous participation is still possible!

For new and returning students: get together!
In this Get-Together you can chat and/or play various board games. This also provides you with an opportunity to meet study partners for modules you are taking and/or with whom you can do free-time activities with.
You can chat with others in german or english.

50.34/Mensa
We will meet on the given dates at 12 o'clock in front of the Infobau (building 50.34) and go together to the Mensa. All women, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people in computer science are cordially invited, whether staff, professors or students.
We want to make new contacts, find out what is being researched at the faculty and simply use the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other.

„Reimagining Architecture With Real-Time Rendering. Enscape behind the scenes“
Real-time rendering is transforming the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, but it comes with a unique set of technical hurdles. How do you render massive, complex architectural datasets at interactive framerates without any pre-baking or preprocessing? How do you handle entirely unpredictable mesh topologies while scaling across a huge range of consumer hardware?
Join KIT alumni and engineers from Chaos (the creators of industry-standard visualization tools like V-Ray and Enscape) for a technical deep dive into the Enscape real-time rendering engine. In this talk, we will break down the composition of a frame in our pipeline and explore the specific algorithms and data structures that make our renderer possible.

This Info² Workshop provides students with an overview about the different opportunities to go abroad. Representitives from various international programs will provide information, inorder that you can evaluate what prospects are available and what you may be interested in.
The primarily focus is for students seeking information regarding:
∎ Overseas Study Abroad
∎ ERASMUS+ &SEMP (there will be no"Restplätze" offered for SS 27)
∎ Application for the *academic year 2027/28 (WS 27/28 and SS 28)
∎ Application procedure and general conditions
The Workshop will be held in German. There will also be a Q&A round, where you ask questions in English or German
This Workshop is relevant for all students in the KIT Department of Informatics who are pursuing a KIT degree. All students may participate in the program regardless of EU nationality.
*Please note for some Oversees programs for the academic year 2027/28 ( you must apply during the current academic calendar)

Maximal 15 Teilnehmende
Der Unkostenbeitrag für fünf Workshop-Tage inkl. Verpflegung und Programm beträgt 75€.
