Dear doctoral researchers:

+++ Important: We need your help! Due to the current corona situation, we would like to change the convention regulations to allow online meetings. We, therefore, need enough participants to achieve the quorum required for this change and the election of a new board. +++

We are glad to invite you to the next general assembly of the convention of the doctoral researchers at the KIT Department of Informatics. We warmly invite all accepted and not-yet-accepted doctoral researchers to join.

Important: In order to comply with the current restrictions for meetings, please register until Monday by e-mail to  informatik-doktoranden-vorstand ∂does-not-exist.lists kit edu (i.e. until including Oct 19).

After discussing the latest news from KIT, there are going to be elections of the board. Therefore, we are strongly looking for candidates for all board positions (chairman, vice chair and board members). Every accepted doctoral researcher is allowed to run for a position.

The board also suggests the convention to change the convention regulations in order to allow boards with less members, to allow online meetings, and to align the admittance to the general assembly with KIT principles (see below).
