Information, networking and exchange for Humboldt Fellows and interested researchers at KIT
 
The Humboldt Tag offers concrete insights into sponsorship opportunities for internationally active researchers. In addition, there is the opportunity to make valuable contacts and exchange ideas during networking.
A highlight of the day is the keynote speech by Humboldt Professor André Platzer on the topic of artificial intelligence. Other highlights include the Humboldt Lightning Talks, in which scholarship holders present their current research projects.

The TdI is aimed at all graduates of the Informatics, Information Systems and Informatics Teacher Education programs who (will) have completed their studies (Bachelor or Master) between ~ July 2024 and ~ July 2025.
The invitations are expected to be sent to the postal address in the system in May, please contact us if you have not received an invitation by 15.06.2025.

KI verleiht Flügel
Künstliche Intelligenz meint die Automatisierung intelligenten Verhaltens und die Lernfähigkeit von Maschinen und Systemen. Im Science Camp KI übertragen wir diese Prinzipien auf die Vogelwelt. Ob Ente, Adler oder Blaumeise: in vier Workshop-Tagen wollen wir Vögel von einer KI trainieren lassen und fit für das große Wettfliegen machen.
Neben einer kleinen Einführung in Python und maschinelles Lernen, erstellen wir mit euch einen eigenen Eier-Datensatz und klassifizieren diesen mit einem neuronalen Netzwerk. Außerdem erproben wir genetische Algorithmen, Mutationen und Fitnessfunktionen für die Rennvögel.

Daneben gibt‘s natürlich auch einen Einblick in das Informatikstudium, den Campus und das Studileben in Karlsruhe.

Das Science Camp KI findet vom 31.07.-04.08.2023 am KIT in Karlsruhe statt und richtet sich an Schülerinnen und Schüler ab Klasse 10.

Maximal 15 Teilnehmende
 
Der Unkostenbeitrag für fünf Workshop-Tage inkl. Verpflegung und Programm beträgt 75€.
