Scienc Camp MakeIT
Du zockst nicht nur gerne, sondern interessierst dich auch dafür, was dahintersteckt? Dann bist du im Science Camp MakeIT genau richtig! Im Science Camp MakeIT entwickelst du deine eigene Spielekonsole – und zwar von der Hardware bis zum fertigen Spiel. 
In einer Woche lernst du, wie Hardware und Software zusammenpassen, machst dir Gedanken über Inputmöglichkeiten und entwirfst dein ganz eigenes Spiel. Das Science Camp MakeIT richtet sich sowohl an Neueinsteiger als auch an Fortgeschrittene, denn hier ist für alle was dabei: Wer den Fokus lieber auf die Hardware legt, nutzt den Makey Makey, um eigene Inputmöglichkeiten zu erfinden und wer sich lieber aufs Coden konzentrieren möchte, nutzt einen Raspberry Pi Pico als Grundlage für die eigene Konsole.
 
Neben spannenden Inhalten aus der Informatik, lernt ihr bei der Gelegenheit auch den Campus und das „Studileben“ in Karlsruhe kennen. 
 
Das Science Camp MakeIT richtet sich an Schüler:innen ab Klasse 8. 

eezi - An introduction to studying computer science (T-INFO-109862)

The course "eezi" (pronounced "easy"), is an offered by the KIT Department of Informatics and is aimed at all first semester students of Informatics, Information Systems, Informatics Teacher Education and Computer Science.

Which lectures do I attend and what are my priorities this semester and in my studies? 

The EVENING TALKS are interactive information event from that address various aspects of student life.

This EVENING TALK focuses on:
∎ planing elective modules and minor modules and how to successfully complete them
∎ What do I need to know about the new SPO2026, and what should I keep in mind, if I switch from SPO22?
We will discuss together which combinations of modules make sense and what to consider for different modules.

The Evening Talk will be held in german, but questions can also be asked in english.

This International Student Roundtable will address important information for international students who are at the start of their studies in KIT Departments of Informatics and Mechanical Engineering. 

Vital information and tips to navigating your start at KIT will be discussed, including:

∎ Learning Agreements (only for Exchange students)

At the end of the Workshop, you can  ask questions of the Mentoring Team, peers and ISS Adviser.

Exchange students as well as international students starting off their studies at the KIT Department of Informatics should attend this workshop.

The workshop will be held in english, but questions can be asked in english or german.
